The location was good, but unfortunately my first experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was a privacy breach: cleaning staff entered my room while I was away, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign. When I spoke to reception, the lady insisted I had changed the sign to request cleaning, even though I had been out of the hotel all day—an illogical excuse and an unacceptable way to handle a privacy complaint. On top of that, ongoing maintenance work was not disclosed at booking, making check‑in and check‑out uncomfortable. The receptionist’s conduct when I asked for help adjusting the AC was also inappropriate. The shower drain had been clogged since I arrived, and despite being promised a fix, it never got sorted. Cleanliness fell below expectations, with a spider on the room wall. Overall, the service, maintenance, and complaint handling do not match a hotel rated this high.
