We wanted a spot south of the Arenal area but away from the tourist crowd, and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. Tucked back from a small road it was quiet, with a pool where you could buy cold drinks and two soda machines nearby. The biggest highlight was the spacious room with a balcony that opened onto a big garden/forest, so we woke up to birdsong instead of traffic, and the buffet breakfast was generous and tasty—exactly the relaxed family stop we needed.
