Overall, it was very comfortable and clean. The hot spring was great because we could use it both late at night and early in the morning. There were no bad aspects regarding the facilities. I followed Google Maps, but the map led me to a narrow spot that a kei car couldn’t fit into, which was frustrating.

The onsen (hot spring) is located right inside the hostel. Sleeping on typical Japanese mats was a great experience and everything was super clean. There was plenty of train equipment and a fantastic model train for fans. Someone from the hostel even drove us to the station when we wanted to order a taxi. For luggage between the station and the hostel, we recommend taking a taxi.
