We felt very welcomed, the breakfast was lovely with a wide selection of homemade products, and a soup was served in our room early in the evening because I was severely sick. The dinner was great, but unfortunately pricey – about twice as expensive as in Germany, which is typical for Norway, so we booked an apartment. We could have cooked at the self‑check kitchen, but we chose the restaurant with regional specialties instead. The small supermarket in town is well stocked, just in case you want to cook yourself.

It was a very nice stay, the food was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly, the location was ideal for hikes and trips to the national parks, and the village was very quiet and cozy.

“Fantastik kjøkken og service”

The food was fantastic and the owner was wonderfully accommodating; she helped tired cyclists a bit on the way so we avoided the worst uphill climbs toward Vinstrevannet. The only downside was the location right next to the road with noisy traffic, but the hotel itself was lovely.

Set right in the mountains, the scenery is breathtaking and the staff are incredibly friendly. The rooms have been recently modernised.

“Anbefales”

The staff were incredibly pleasant. During breakfast they asked if we wanted eggs, and freshly fried eggs and bacon were served right at our table. Maybe the price is a bit high, but otherwise there was nothing to complain about during our stay.
