The lodging and the cocoa farm where it’s located are beautiful, the room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is very good. We dined at the restaurant and it was superb. All staff are very kind.

Everything was perfect! I’d love to recommend this place to anyone on a Costa Rica vacation. The rooms were gorgeous, with huge beds and plenty of pillows. Breakfast and dinner food was tasty, especially the cacao sorbet—delicious! The chocolate‑making workshop was a highlight, thanks to the friendly and knowledgeable Julian. He also took us on a farm tour before the workshop, which helped us appreciate the whole process. The cat and dog were lovely companions. Make sure to stay at least two nights to fully enjoy everything. The spa was a treat, and we saw toucans and hummingbirds right outside our cabin. I couldn’t find anything to complain about—everything was perfect, even on two rainy days.
