Whenever we head to Lowestoft, we make it a point to stay here; Nicci and Rich are fantastic hosts, always friendly and helpful.

I celebrated my birthday here and the host went the extra mile by leaving a thoughtful card, a bottle of bubbly, and beautiful decorations in the room, making the experience feel truly personal and generous. The four‑poster bed was incredibly comfortable—one of the best I've slept in—and the sea view was stunning; we kept the window open all night and were surprised by how close the sound of the waves was. The room was also stocked with practical touches: plenty of tea, coffee, and milk, proper mugs, many plug sockets and charging ports, all thoughtfully arranged. Overall, it was a memorable stay with many lovely details. The only drawback was that breakfast wasn’t provided, but I knew this from the booking and could easily get a meal at The Thatched opposite or walk along the beach for more options.

The hosts were kind and attentive, the room was cozy and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the place was pleasant. The only minor issue was the shower, but I personally prefer baths, so it wasn’t a problem.
