Good location and pool, but the bathroom was extremely dirty and smelled bad.
“Good choice for a days stay”
Close to the Matrimandir visitors centre, the pool was a good size for laps and reasonably clean. The food was excellent quality, the bed comfortable, and the staff were all friendly. When we first arrived, the receptionist told us we didn’t have a booking under our name, then showed us a list of expected visitors for the day that didn’t interest me. I had to show him our confirmation email before he could assign a room; he didn’t apologise. As the reception is the first point of contact, care should be taken when handling arriving guests. The subsequent service was good. Two water bottles were provided, one of which had a rusted cap from the inside. The water filter outside the kitchen had bits floating inside and was also rusted on the exterior. The sofa in the room looked dirty; fresh upholstery could improve the look. Pool maintenance could be better by fishing out flowers and dead insects with long‑handled nets. No shampoo was provided.
