“Moths in the room, larvae in the bathroom”
I discovered moths fluttering around the bedroom and even larvae crawling inside the bathroom shower enclosure. It felt far from the clean environment I was expecting, and honestly, it was enough to ruin the stay.
“Spacious room, solid house”
The bedroom turned out to be surprisingly spacious, and the house itself felt solid and well‑constructed. We had plenty of room to move around and felt comfortable throughout our stay.
“Cheap price, but zero privacy or security”
The rate was a lot cheaper than a typical hotel, which was a plus, but the room came without any lock and the whole house was open to other guests, leaving us uneasy about security. We only got a brief welcome from a resident who opened the gate for us, and after that the owner disappeared. One of the beds was broken, and staff entered the room while we were sleeping without knocking—only the lights gave us a clue.
“Helpful Bruno, but noisy mornings”
Bruno was incredibly courteous and stepped in to help with anything we needed, which made the experience pleasant. The only drawback was the early‑morning banging of doors that kept us awake. Apart from that noise, his friendly assistance more than made up for it.
