The swimming pool is good, the sun‑bathing area is also okay. The vegetables at breakfast could be fresher, the bread selection is sparse, and the coffee machine is a catastrophe! The staff generally don’t speak German, except for a few. At a hotel in this price range there are no daily newspapers.

We were again blown away by the comfort, hospitality, quality of breakfast and dinner, cozy décor, and the amazing, diverse, and well‑designed spa. We’ll probably return multiple times in the coming years. Everything else was flawless.

The location is great – just about 20 min on foot to Caumasee. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had everything you could want for a hearty breakfast. The room was very warm and you couldn’t adjust it yourself. The service staff spoke only English, which I find inappropriate. Not all guests speak English, and when I choose a hotel in Switzerland I also expect German, not to be forced to speak English. That doesn’t work for me.
