The location is spot on, close to everything! The staff were very good, especially Marcelo who received me (I think that's his name). The facilities aren't great, and cleanliness is lacking. The shower valve was broken and I had to keep turning off the main switch. The bathroom sink tap was loose, old, and the sink and bathroom were dirty; the whole bathroom looked unclean. The linens and towels were stained, and the pillows were yellowed. Luckily I only stayed one day!

The location is indeed central in Cumbuco. We arrived at the lodge, went up to our room, and were given a key. The TV had no remote, the mini fridge was off and stinking, the shower in the bathroom leaked everywhere, and because it was electric I was scared of a shock. We left and got back at 2 a.m., exhausted, and there was a gate that we weren't given a key for. We called the lodge many times but no one answered; I had to wait to see if other guests were there, and a couple arrived who opened the gate for us. In short, I will never return to this lodge.

The beach is close, and the nearby shops were also convenient. The reception service was in the middle of the street with no privacy at all.

We didn't like anything! HORRIBLE!!! They wouldn't let us stay!!! When we got there, they refused our reservation! They said the price wasn't what we paid; I had to find a way to go home! The service was terrible! There are no words for such neglect; they said the price wasn't the reservation's, they wanted to charge double! We tried everything, showed the confirmed reservation from the booking, but they wouldn't listen. They simply said they wouldn't accept the stay! We didn't stay; we were practically "on the street" with three kids, one of them in a stroller! We had to find a way back home! OUTRAGE is too weak for this! I will file legal action for the trouble caused to me and my family! We looked for another place to stay, but there was no availability. Everything was sold out!
