There’s no breakfast; you have to know this is a converted vehicle garage into an apartment on the ground floor, with a group of young guys renting the upper floor. The room smells damp, and although it’s listed as an “apartment,” it’s basically just for sleeping. It’s very hot and poorly ventilated, so air conditioning is essential. The owner is very friendly and attentive, but everything else is a bit lacking.

The windows had good sound insulation and the host was very friendly. The house was located right on the main road, which was busy day and night, and there was no connection to the surf club, so it really wasn't a "surf house". There was no accessible parking.

The place doesn't deserve more than 4 stars. What is rented is not a real apartment but a basement taken from the owner's cellar. The space is cramped: the ceiling is less than 1.90 m, so my husband had to move with his head bent. The whole environment is permeated by a nasty mold smell. The cleanliness was unacceptable: there were cobwebs in the corners and, more seriously, other people's hair in the shower. The supplies showed a total lack of respect for the guest: old towels, only one roll of toilet paper, insufficient dishes for the number of guests, and the dish soap and hand soap were thinned to save money and in minimal doses. Interaction with the owner didn't improve things: with a very brisk manner he forced us to absolute silence after 22:00 because he had to wake up early to surf. Looking at the listing, it seems the enthusiastic reviews and beautiful photos refer to another main apartment, while this accommodation appears to be intended for "Series B" guests. Absolutely not recommended.

The photos didn't reflect the reality of the accommodation.
