“Traditional”

I spent one night in room 7 on the ground floor, and it was comfortable and very clean. The bed and linens were high quality. However, there were no curtains on the window, the blinds were broken, and I didn’t feel secure staying alone. Also, there was no breakfast.

The room was small. only room for 1 bedside locker shower head was useless. The guest living room smelled musty. We could hear every movement made by guests upstairs and woke up early because of that

Everything was good, but I had paid for a stay that included breakfast. A day before arrival, I received an email saying it wasn’t included because of past health issues. The owner said they had asked the bookings.com team to remove it long ago, but you denied it, which feels like lying to customers publicly. I paid for a service I didn’t receive, which forced me to change plans, adding extra time, effort, and expense. I feel robbed of my breakfast 😀

The place was clean and offered good value. It was quite a hike into town, and there was no innkeeper on site. But we left a journal behind, and the owner had staff find it and mail it home, which was greatly appreciated!
