“Lovely Guest House with wonderful Host”

Mariaan was absolutely wonderful and extremely accommodating. The braai facility and self‑catering option were a necessity for us because of the length of our stay. The rooms were well laid out with lovely linen and a good bathroom/shower. The walk‑in wardrobe was especially welcoming for a week‑long stay as a couple, making it easier to get ready without feeling cramped. It was convenient to have a kitchen and fridge for breakfasts, quick lunches, or light dinners. We used the communal lounge and dining area a lot, enjoying the warm fire while having dinner. We traveled as two couples. The braai pit was right outside another guest room, so we had to whisper and were told the other guests needed silence because they were on a team call at 19h00; the low whisper still carried between the side‑by‑side rooms. Long mirrors in the rooms would have been great for getting ready. The braai containers for meat were available, and Mariaan gave us a pot to use, but the dishwasher was broken and unusable during our stay.

“A perfect stay; very central; close all amenities and especially if you going to St Annes School.”

Marianne was an amazing host and very helpful. The rooms were modern, clean, and neat, and the Guest House was ideal and very close to St Annes School. The bathrooms could use more storage, the second bathroom had no hot water, and it would be nice to have coffee, tea, and milk in the bedrooms, plus a long mirror.
