The location was fine, breakfast was very good, staff friendly, TV worked well, everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable and we could ventilate the room with the window grill and the portable air‑conditioner; Wi‑Fi was solid. At reception we arrived at 17:00, asked for breakfast – no problem, it was excellent. When we inquired about reserving a table at the nearby restaurant, the receptionist said we could book for 18:00‑18:30 and she would arrange it. At 18:15 the restaurant was fully booked and there was no reservation for us; they offered to let us wait for a free table with a drink, which we declined and ended up finding a seat at restaurant Heinde ourselves.

Nice spot surrounded by greenery, bike hire, a lovely kitchen, great breakfast, and friendly staff, yet the stairs are very steep and shallow, and the rooms, though large and cosy, feel outdated.

It feels cozy, there’s plenty to do, and it’s in a perfect spot, surrounded by nature yet close to the city – exactly what we wanted.
