“NEVER AGAIN”
I had no positives to note; this was my second stay and each time the pool was out of service, roach‑stained sheets appeared, the AC didn’t work in the first room, and I had to be moved to another room.

The corner room kept me away from crowds and the shower was surprisingly decent, and it was available at the very last minute when I needed a place after a full day of driving. Yet I couldn’t sleep because of the noise from the room, the location made me worry the vehicle might be broken into all night, the AC rattled all night, the refrigerator made scratching noises, the tile floor was broken, and the room had a horrible smell.

The location was convenient for my destination, but the room suffered from extensive damage—my photos show the toilet wasn’t fixed to the floor, and the second day I found food in my bathroom sink that seemed to have come from a neighboring room’s vomit. The biggest security issue is that the outside door nearest the 100 Wing stairwell doesn’t require a room key and remains open at all times, even though it doesn’t pass the front desk.

The place feels like a tired relic; my room was clean yet dreadful, the TV was dead, and the door jam had a poor seal letting in everyone’s footsteps. It was a “handicap” unit, so the tub lacked a showerhead and I could barely fit in it—an ordeal for a senior trying to get out afterward. The staff were kind and helpful, but it was clearly an old, long‑out‑dated Motel 6. Parking worried me: many lights were out, dark corners, abandoned cars, and I had to stash most of my belongings in the room to protect them, though nothing was damaged. The facilities are extremely old and show no signs of renovation, with dirty grills, roof leaks, stained carpet, and awful lighting, yet the AC worked well and the bed was comfortable.

Getting to Greune Hall was a breeze. The TV stopped working, and there was a lot of noise at night.
