The breakfast was great, and for a small extra fee you could stroll through the Odzienas Manor grounds and the castle, learning about its history.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the decor was charming; it's nice that they thought about children's comfort, and walking around was enjoyable. The bathroom could use a few more hooks or hangers for clothes and a softer pillow.
