The building is new, and the bed area is spacious so I could rest comfortably. The dining area and shower room are clean and tidy. The owner was kind and considerate in many ways. The famous beach is right nearby. Because of the ferry schedule, my stay was short this time, but I’d like to stay multiple nights next time. The check‑in time is 17:00, so a slightly earlier time would be appreciated.

The exterior is easy to recognize. It’s a wooden structure with a space to hang laundry, and the smoking area is outside. The kitchen isn’t usable, and moving from the dormitory bed to the dining area is inconvenient. Since you can’t pass through the kitchen, it’s a hassle. The door handles on the partition doors are missing.

I stayed five days and it was one of the best experiences. The beach is amazing and everyone in town is friendly. It’s close to the bus and other walkable beaches, the island is beautiful and quiet, and I was lucky to have good weather every day.

The owner and family were truly kind, and that kindness seemed to influence the other guests, who were all very polite. The location is close to the sea, so I could relax a lot, and the facilities were flawless. The staff’s meticulous care showed their pride and love for their work, which was wonderful. The owner (father) kindly took care of my meals every time I stopped by on a casual trip, and the son talked about the countries I’d visited in great detail; I want to thank them again. Thanks to them, I made a great friend.

Each capsule has multiple outlets, lights, and hooks, showing thoughtful attention from the user’s perspective. The amenities are more extensive than a normal dormitory. I was surprised the bunk bed could be made into a loft! The mattress is fluffy, the bedding is solid, and I slept better than at home, haha. The owner and family are incredibly friendly and can teach you anything about Goto Island. We had the right timing to chat, making it the best memory of Goto Island. I’ll definitely come back to stay again—it’s the best place.
