The hotel is very nice and located in the center of Vimperk. The rooms are large, well equipped with comfortable beds, plenty of storage space, and a fridge in the room. The ground‑floor restaurant is good, especially for breakfast. The downside was that during the summer the room was unbearably hot, and there was no way to ventilate it, either at night or by a breeze through the hotel corridor.

Breakfast was excellent, with the staff quickly restocking everything. The staff were helpful, kind, and very willing to assist.
The rooms were okay. The breakfast was sad 😞.

The kitchenette is modestly equipped, but the hotel offers a generous breakfast selection, including gluten‑free options, and has a restaurant. A private large parking lot is included in the price, making it convenient for a multi‑day stay. Communication with the staff was friendly and quick before arrival, but on the day of arrival we were a bit taken aback by the staff, perhaps an off day. Our room had a gap of about 2 cm without a threshold under the door to the hallway, so everything from the hallway could be heard inside and vice versa.
The hotel still remembers better times, but the accommodation is decent, clean, and the breakfast is good with a sufficient selection. Overall, nothing to complain about.
