The atmosphere is very friendly and the place is great for meeting people. The owners are very nice and welcoming. They have different games, like pétanque or darts, which are perfect for socializing and having fun without fuss. I also really liked the décor and how the place is set up. It’s relaxing and exactly what you expect from an island establishment. Nothing to complain about! There weren’t many people, so I don’t know how a full‑capacity stay would go.

“Lovely place with even lovelier people”

Staying with Babeth and Peyo turned out to be one of the best choices I could have made. They’re incredibly welcoming, and I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. The hostel itself is a charming, beautifully decorated beach house with everything you could need. The two pools are always spotless, and Peyo has an impressive range of surfboards to rent—he’s always happy to help you find the best waves around and really knows the area inside out. Their three small dogs are super friendly and cuddly, and the neighbor’s cat visits from time to time. It honestly feels less like staying at a hostel and more like visiting old friends. Thank you for everything—see you next time :)

I really loved the camp. I made many new friends and the hosts are so kind and helpful. I felt very at home and there was always something going on, somebody around. The pools were good for refreshing and it was really easy to sign up for a surf course over the hosts, and you could pay at the hostel. Can only recommend. There were many mosquitos and my net had some holes in it, but not a big deal.

The place is pleasant and welcoming, and the hosts are always available if needed. The location for visiting is perfect, especially with restaurants right outside Sunset surf camp. Nothing to note, because the family‑style atmosphere created by the hosts and the carbet‑style venue suited us well.
