Very friendly and always helpful staff. About 3 km from the V&A Waterfront, and about 5 minutes by Uber. The breakfast is very good. The room was a bit small.

“Nice breakfast and location, but room was too small”

Breakfast was very nice and the hotel was in a nice location. The room was really small—too small, in our opinion. We could barely open our luggage properly, which made the room feel quite cramped. The walls were also very thin, so we could hear other guests quite clearly. Another issue was the windows. They weren’t properly covered, so outside lights were shining into the room at night, and the early morning light came in as well. It would definitely help if they invested in better curtains or window coverings. Overall, these things made it difficult to get a comfortable and restful night’s sleep

“Was jostled awake every morning at 06:00”

The staff were incredibly friendly. It’s worth flagging that rooms on the first floor are poorly insulated against sound due to their proximity to the kitchen and the dining area. Every morning, around 06:00 we would be woken up with the sound of clattering cutlery, the staff and kitchen appliances. I reached out to management promptly to ask about moving rooms and was ignored. We would have been happy to negotiate or accept our fate, but management’s silence was unacceptable. The parking is also not secure/gated - an important consideration when parking a rental car in Cape Town

“My stay was awesome”

The hotel was decent, with no major complaints. It wasn't as close to the beach or CBD as I’d liked. The food was tasty, though a bit pricey for the portions. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and the staff were welcoming.
