Staff were very friendly and helpful, I arrived earlier than check‑in and they let me leave my bag at reception for free. Location was great – a nice walk to the Cologne Cathedral with Roman ruins along the way. Lots of food options nearby (there's a great Thai place nearby). The communal kitchen was nice as well, and I appreciated the fresh fruit for breakfast. Towels are provided for free (just had to ask at the reception). No plug socket near the beds, and the bed is only fitted with 1 USB‑A cable. Had to use the plug across the room. Toilet and shower are in the same room, so there was some waiting time, but not a huge issue.

Un excellent hôtel, d’une propreté irréprochable ! La cuisine est très pratique et bien équipée, ce qui permet de préparer ses repas facilement. Le personnel est accueillant, sympathique et très professionnel. L’ambiance est agréable et les lieux sont bien entretenus. J’ai également apprécié la qualité du service et le bon rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande vivement cet établissement à toute personne souhaitant passer un agréable séjour à Cologne. The staff were very kind and helpful! The kitchen is exceptionally well‑equipped, and free coffee and other items are available. The room’s furnishings and appearance are very poor, cluttered, and run‑down. The accommodation is a bit far from the city centre but close to the metro station, so it is suitable only for a short stay.
