“Get it right & it’s a hidden gem”

The spot behind Three Brothers is great and could become a gem with a bit of TLC and attention to fixing a few things. Yuni is fantastic and does her best (there between about 10 am to 4 pm Mon‑Sat). There’s no drinking water or toiletries (hand wash in some rooms). Ongoing construction next door during daylight hours isn’t too bad. Some AC, lighting, and bathroom issues in Room 2. Ineffective/poor AC in Room 1. Newer Room 6 is good (AC just cold enough on lowest setting—sometimes the AC RC doesn’t respond). When Room 5 activated its AC it tripped the power to the rooms, causing multiple outages and an early checkout for someone.

The location is good and the café next door is awesome. There are no staff on site, so getting questions answered or help is somewhat a struggle, and it’s unsettling being a female solo traveler. A lot of construction was going on, which I was told about after booking, and a discount was supposedly given because of that. I don’t think it was worth the price even with the discount, as the pool could not be enjoyed with the constant noise and people coming in and out. Finally, water would not drain in the shower so it just stood, and although the issue was addressed promptly—which I appreciated—it kept happening. The girl cleaning rooms was lovely, though. Some things could be fixed and this would be a better stay.

I stayed in a spacious room with nice furnishings and a clean pool that offered good value. The hotel warned me about construction next door only after I booked, which was fine, but I couldn't leave without stepping on wet concrete. I asked for planks to avoid the concrete, but they refused, so I made my own wooden path; they kept removing it, forcing me to rebuild each time. I don't get why that was a problem. The internal bathroom, originally an outdoor space now enclosed without ventilation, smelled moldy, which is why I didn't rate it a 10; that needs fixing.

The location is brilliant and there's a cute little cafe attached. The bee could have been a bit softer.
