I was thrilled by how close the hotel sits to Aristotle Square, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room felt very comfortable and spotless, and the breakfast was consistently tasty.

The only good thing was the hotel’s location and the breakfast; the boy on the night shift at the reception was polite and courteous. We paid for a vacation in April for a room with a balcony and did not receive one. Sometimes I checked the reservation and saw a change, but I assumed that if there was no notification it would be only from the other side of the hotel. Upon arrival we saw that we were assigned to a room without a balcony. We immediately went to the reception and asked for a change. They showed us another reservation for a room without a balcony. The man at the reception was aggressive, refused to connect us with the manager or owner, and tried to convince us that we did not know what we had paid for. It got worse when I entered the bathroom: the toilet was full, unclean, with women's wrappers on the floor. I returned to the reception with a picture. The bathroom door squeaked and the toilet seat was not secured. Throughout the stay we could not use the toilet normally because we feared we would damage it. The reception offered no support, understanding, or anything. We wrote to you in the customer service section and waited 3 days with no response. Then we wrote in the complaints section. We received an answer that maintenance had checked the room and found no irregularities. After the complaints we were offered to move to another room as compensation. I do not consider that compensation for what I paid months earlier. Compensation should be something extra as an apology, a better room than the paid one, or a refund of the difference. I would like compensation for the bad staff attitude and the lack of any concern from the manager and owner. That evening, after the reception complaints, they informed us that they had not made a mistake and that you changed our reservation, that you did not notify us, and that the last thought is yours! I expect an adequate and timely response and compensation for our ruined vacation. You also did not help us.
