Eviston House Hotel

“The Eviston house gives you fine living in the middle of town.”

Located right in the town center, this hotel is ideal for anyone wanting easy access to everything. Within a 3‑4 minute walk you’ll find the post office, tourist information office, regular bus tours and the on/off bus, a grocery store, and a ton of great restaurants. The lobby hosts live entertainment, a restaurant, and a breakfast buffet that costs extra—but it’s definitely worth it. There’s no noise from the shows or any other activity in this lively little town, and the front‑desk staff are always present and very helpful. I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like.

The room was a comfortable large one. Unfortunately, there weren’t enough parking spaces, which is okay if you can tell customers ahead of time where to park since you can’t stop in front of the hotel. Also, I found foreign hair on the bed and a bath towel was dirty with black streaks.

I had a very satisfactory 3-night stay at this hotel. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and my room was comfortable and cosy. I had seen some reviews mentioning noise because of the central location and nearby pubs, but I personally had no issues at all and my room was quiet. The breakfast had a nice range of options, and the live music at the hotel bar was a great addition and made for a really enjoyable evening. The location was excellent, pretty central and convenient for getting around. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel
