The location and host were fantastic, and the hut and cabin were very well appointed. It was a bit inconvenient to walk to the cabin to use the toilet at night; it wasn’t too bad in the hot dry weather of our visit, but it was less comfortable when it rained. There were no fishermen around during our stay, so I’m not sure how that might affect privacy.

The location was perfect for a romantic getaway, and the hut itself was spotless and well-maintained. We loved the friendly atmosphere and good parking options. However, the only downside was that the toilet was a bit of a trek from the hut – it would have been nice to have it right next door.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, cosy little hut set in an idyllic setting. Our host, Audrey, was fantastic and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The little touches, like a flask of milk for our morning tea, were a lovely surprise. We wished we could have stayed longer – it was the perfect retreat.
