“Um lugar onde cada detalhe é importante...”

I’m 72, traveling alone with no set itinerary, and Uruguay was my 33rd country; as a geographer and teacher, I found the list of things I liked to be very long—essentially everything. What struck me most was the welcoming atmosphere and the affection shown in the careful attention to small details, not just for me but for other guests too. I chose Lo De Ro for its undeniably sensational architecture, and when I arrived I met Ro and his mother, bright people whose company I’m grateful for ❤️❤️. I didn’t enjoy having to leave, missing the coziness, the nights by the fireplace, the lively conversations, and the wonderful wine.

The heated pool, the construction style, and the cleanliness were great, but the shower location was inconvenient.

The staff’s excellent service, warmth, attention to detail, the very good, comfortable facilities, spotless cleanliness, and the proximity to the city center and the beach were all superb; I can’t think of anything negative.

“Isatisfechos”

El desayuno se veía variado y casero. Me fui a desconectar con mi pareja. Vimos la habitación por la página y nos encantó la rusticidad y a su vez prolijidad de la misma. Al llegar nos dimos cuenta que era un Hostel, con mucha gente en los espacios comunes (patio, piscina, etc), no hotel. Quisimos dormir una siesta porque estábamos cansados pero estaba la música muy alta en el patio, y alrededor de 10 personas dentro de la piscina conversando, cantando, gritando, etc. Nos dieron una habitación privada, divina por dentro, acogedora y limpia. Pero estaba al lado del patio y se sentía todo como si estuvieran dentro. No pudimos dormir siesta. También entraba mucha luz a la habitación xq no tenía cortina en las ventanas chicas de arriba, entonces cuando amaneció ya nos despertamos por la luz. El precio nos resultó muy caro xq no descansamos al 100%. En resumen, la habitación muy linda, el entorno no es para descansar y desconectar, sino mas bien para viajeros mochileros, o entre amigos que busquen música, conocer gente, compartir cositas, etc
