I enjoyed my stay there. The place is beautiful and at a very quiet area. The staff was her welcoming and helpful during the stay. I noticed that the place is her spacious and can accommodate for events which is great

I was hoping the staff would make up for the lack of resources, but they couldn't fix the power or hot water that was missing for three days, and they barely tried to run a generator.

“No Power and No Water... Very frustrating...”

The place was lovely with a good location and close to Ellis Park for the rugby match, but throughout our stay we had no power or hot water. After asking the owner to start the generator, he did it while we were away; it was very disappointing that basic amenities like hot water, electricity, and Wi‑Fi weren’t provided, and I wasn’t impressed at all.

“No power. Not hot water. Was essentially camping on a bed”

The staff were lovely and doing their best but were clearly very badly let down by the owners who took absolutely ZERO interest in the problems that were happening. No power or hot water for 4 nights stay. We had no power or hot water for the duration of our stay. The staff were great and tried their best but the owner of the lodge clearly had no interest in sorting out any solutions. I have no problem with load shedding but 4 days with no power was ridiculous and the owner avoided all calls to come and get the generator going. Again I don’t blame the staff but shame on management for putting them in that position. They were so under resourced it was ridiculous. Each guest only had one or two theadbare towels. One roll of toilet paper. The place was very clean though
