Everything was very welcoming, but the only thing that bothered us was the motion‑sensor light in the hallway that would turn on every time someone went to the toilet—an unnecessary disturbance at night when you’re trying to sleep.

The hotel is close to the city center, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and the breakfast is good and self‑serve. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, so the high outdoor temperatures make the rooms feel hot.

The nostalgia is there, but on Mondays and Tuesdays everything is closed and you can only enter with a code. During breakfast no staff are present and there are no labels or descriptions of what is where. While regional products are available at breakfast, eggs are not offered, even though the room price is high. The value for money at breakfast is missing, yet the hotel is still recommended.
