The location was convenient, close to the lake and food spots, and the family greeted us warmly on arrival. However, there was no free drinking water (you had to ask for it), they tried to charge for early check‑in (something no other place in Vietnam has ever done when the room is ready), and English was minimal with little help for booking activities or onward travel; laundry wasn’t offered. We ended up using the nearby Central Dalat Hostel for activities, breakfast, onward travel, and laundry—preferences shaped by two months of travel and many homestays that had already provided those services.

It was very comfortable, the host was enthusiastic, and the location is close to the center so you can walk around.

Chủ homestay và tiện nghi phòng tuyệt vời nhé mọi người, vị trí nằm gần chợ và trung tâm nên dễ di chuyển nhé! Có thuê xe máy tại chỗ luôn! ________ Mình đã đến 3 ngày 2 đêm, cuối tháng 5 năm 2026, thời tiết có vài cơn mưa bất chợt! Nhớ lắm Đà Lạt mộng mơ!!!. Không thấy điều gì

“Amazing place!”

It’s a great value, close to the night market and central lake, with everything nearby, and the staff were amazing and very kind.

The view from the window was beautiful, the bed was large and comfortable (even two of them), the room was warm (which was a relief given January weather in Da Lat), and the shower had hot water via a water heater; overall it had everything needed. The area is great, right in the center, with all venues and the night market nearby. The downside was a bit of noise because the windows face a busy road, and sometimes motorbikes pass by and can be disruptive; also, the host’s children on the first floor were occasionally noisy.
