“Excellent food friendly staff clean room”

The room was spotless, nothing to complain about.

The room was well decorated with lots of extra little touches - very thoughtful like dressing gowns and a well stocked tea tray Despite being at the front of the building above the front door, it was really quiet. The shower had really good pressure and lots of hot water - and of course, there were lovely soft towels. We had breakfast the next morning which was tasty and large enough to keep us set for the day. Very dog friendly (which is why we chose it) our labrador was even welcome to lie at our feet during meals. The hotel is well placed to walk around Hunstanton and very close to the sea. Beds and bedding is really personal, but the mattress was really awful - hard, lumpy and uncomfortable, we really struggled to sleep well despite everything else being fabulous. We probably spend at least 3 months a year travelling and so we stay in lots of different rooms but this mattress was tough. Don't let this cloud you on the rest of the stay - we may just have been unlucky, and the rest of the stay was really good

“Exceptional hotel for a very reasonable price - no wonder it’s a popular choice.”

We thought the breakfast was excellent and shows the chef is very very good. The lunch and dinner service is well attended and the dishes look so appetising. Quality ingredients. Breakfast is alaways a good marker ie bacon and perfectly toasted thick cut bread. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Special mention to housekeeping- the cleanliness of the rooms was such a delightful welcome and the tea, biscuits etc were well stocked
