The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good, but the check‑in experience and the overall attitude of the staff were very disappointing. On departure the lift failed to reach the 16th floor even after waiting more than 5 minutes, so I had to walk down 16 floors—there was no apology from reception or any attempt to fix the technical issue.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the hotel’s location next to Gateway Mall was convenient, with a safe pathway linking the hotel and the mall. The only issue I ran into was that some of the lights in my room weren't working, but otherwise the location was fantastic for my shopping trip to Durban.

The room was tidy, the view was great, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, but parking was a bit confusing when you arrive because there were no clear instructions.

I loved the pool!!! My room was excellent!!! The breakfast was well prepared and fresh. It would have been nice to have a bath tub, instead of a shower
