The place didn’t even try to serve breakfast, which was a relief for us since we preferred to eat out. Unfortunately the building feels like it belongs in the ’70s – the wiring looks unsafe, there are barely any power sockets, the rooms are carpet‑free and the furniture is practically unusable. Parking is cramped and the front desk was run by a teenager who clearly had no training in hospitality.

Location can’t be beat – everything I wanted to see was just a short walk away. The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help, and the beds were surprisingly comfy for a budget spot.

The hotel is right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants, so grabbing a bite or doing some shopping was super convenient. The downside is that the beach is a bit of a trek away, so you’ll need to plan for a longer walk or a short drive.
