Gold Canyon Gold Resort is simply exceptional. Amazing landscapes. Great for hiking. Trails around the area are vast. It is pure gold for golf adepts. Spa treatments. Wonderful staff, from Katie to John, at the reception. Sentrisa, the restaurant manager. A rare, unique and wonderful human being. Servers Monique, Baylee, Suzie, always with a beautiful smile. Great client services, kindness, courtoisie. A place to relax, for short and long stays. I will definitely be back. Kind regards, Dean (102). “Dirty Room”

The room was covered in dust, as if no one had been there in ages, and a centipede ran across the floor—just a bad vibe. I didn’t feel comfortable, returned the keys and left. They offered me a different room, but it was supposedly an “upgraded room” because the king bed I’d booked online wasn’t available, supposedly because it “had not been cleaned yet,” which I wasn’t interested in. This was a late booking, and I’d been stuck in a flood on my way home from the hospital. I don’t recommend it.

“Beautiful Miuntain Views”

The place looks stunning and stays in great shape; our room was roomy and the beds were super comfy. The spot was ideal for a photo shoot we were doing, and the staff were fantastic. I had a low blood sugar episode and needed orange juice—manager Joelene not only brought me orange juice but also gave me breakfast to make sure I was okay. Thanks, Joelene, for looking after your guests so well; we’ll definitely return for a weekend getaway. The parking is a bit far from the rooms, but they provide a golf cart to shuttle you back and forth.
