“Dwie dorosłe osoby + dziecko + pies”
The clean, fragrant sheets and comfortable bed were definite positives, and the pier offered a great view of the lake. Having a dog made the stay very convenient. Outside there’s a public kitchen/ tavern with a grill – it’s better equipped, the stove works normally, and the lake view from there is really nice. The fireplace in the cabin is electric, with a built‑in fire pit, but it creates a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, the place has a lot of potential and some really cool features, but the cleanliness, bathroom, and cabin equipment need serious improvement. The biggest issue isn’t that some items are old – old equipment can be fine if well maintained – but many things were simply dirty, worn, or broken. We paid 4000 zł for a week’s stay and feel it’s definitely too expensive for that level of standard. At that price, one expects mainly cleanliness, functional equipment, and basic comfort, all of which were lacking. The first impression of cabin 2, with two bedrooms, looked good, but after a few minutes of staying, many shortcomings appeared. The biggest problem was the cleanliness and condition of the equipment. The rug in front of the fireplace had a strong smell of old, damp towels. Two blankets had a similar odor. In the bathroom, the shower head was clogged, the taps had a lot of limescale, and water constantly ran under the shower and toilet. The toilet seat was yellowed from the bottom and clearly needed replacement. The shower itself was hard to adjust to get the right temperature. Additionally, after turning the water off in the morning, an unpleasant smell appeared, sometimes even outside. The kitchen left a lot to be desired. There were two pans, but both were in such bad condition that we didn’t use them. The coffee maker was very old and so dirty that it couldn’t even be unscrewed. The kettle looked like it was about 20 years old, with old yellow stone inside. The fact that the equipment was old wouldn’t be a problem if it were cared for and clean. The stove was outdated and very slow at heating water – even a small pot took about 10 minutes to heat. The dishes and containers for salt or spices also looked very old and required thorough cleaning. Cleanliness was also an issue in the rest of the cabin. In the cupboard there was an extra fold‑out mattress. We took it to sit in front of the fireplace because the rug was unbearable. After unfolding it turned out to be covered in dust. I started sneezing intensely and had a sore throat, and the mattress itself smelled strongly of dust. The vacuum cleaner would have been better simply removed – when turned on it smelled of dust, it hung dust from it, was additionally glued with tape, and looked very worn. The cabin only had two rolls of toilet paper and a paper towel end.
