We were excited after reading the reviews, but the fire pit was a let‑down because no wood was supplied. We bought our own, only to be asked where we got it and treated like a nuisance. The rooms were infested with bugs and the staff were unhelpful, so I won't be back or recommend it.

The house is huge and spotless, with a gorgeous veranda and a great view that makes evenings by the fire a treat. The beds are comfy, the Wi‑Fi is speedy, and the hosts are warm, even serving a tasty breakfast. Shops, restaurants, and the nearby Izvorite park are all within walking distance. We’d definitely stay here again.

The downside is the lack of a proper living room – you only have a dining area and a yard spot, so the third bedroom has to double as living space – and the shower is a bit cramped.
