“Stunningly beautiful Estate”

Tavarneta Estate is an absolute gem of a hotel in the Brda wine region. Our room was amazing with stunning views over the vineyards below and across to Italy. Our room was beautiful, modern and very comfortable with a small table and 2 chairs on the balcony where we could relax with a glass of wine watching the sunset across the vineyard. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful and personably with special thanks to Poolina & Geoyl for their excellent service. The location of the hotel is idyllic with a lovely restaurant within the Estate serving excellent food and the most amazing breakfast on the deck overlooking the valley. It’s also a very close walk to a number of other vineyards offering wine tastings and cellar tours and some other restaurants. I highly recommend Tavarneta Estate, to anyone wanting a perfect hotel in the Brda region. We will definitely be booking this fabulous hotel when we next visit this beautiful part of Slovenia. The only suggestion is to provide some tea and coffee making facilities in the room and some bathrobes.

“A night in wine country...”

Everything! The views of the vineyards and Italy from the wine bar and our private terrace, the spacious and modern room and bath, the friendly, helpful host and the wonderful breakfast (on the terrace). The host reserved a table for us at their sister-restaurant which served delicious seafood. Jure and Jaka (who also make great wine) treated us very well! Would definitely return. Nothing. It was a perfect stay, I'd have to say. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night!

“Beautiful stay in wine country.”

A beautiful property with an outstanding view. The restaurant was great and breakfast was very good. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Great service

I really liked the location. The view of the vineyards is simply fantastic. The pool and the wonderful sunsets there are especially recommended. The dinner with the 5‑course menu was excellent. At our spot a lamp was missing, and in the outdoor area there were still exposed cables without lamps visible. There is still some room for improvement. The staff were always friendly, but at times seemed a bit overloaded. A slightly higher staff level would probably improve the service quality further.
