Located in Banff National Park, the 4-star Fairmont Château Lake Louise offers breathtaking views of Lake Louise and the Victoria Glacier. This resort features a heated indoor pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, and 8 dining options, including the 4-Diamond Fairview Dining Room serving organic cuisine. Rooms offer cable TV and coffee makers, with some featuring views of Lake Louise or the Château grounds.

The location and staff professionalism were good, but the room cost 1200 CAD and was too small, the air‑conditioning was noisy, and the bathroom was tiny. The free pool didn’t match the photos on the hotel site and was awful, with a minimum surcharge of 100 CAD per person for 60 minutes in the new pool area. In short, the hotel doesn’t deserve the Fairmont name; we’ve stayed at better ones.

The location was perfect with incredible views and easy access to hiking trails. The staff were friendly and attentive. The coffee shop is open to everyone visiting Lake Louise, not just hotel guests, and the area gets chaotic during the day.

I liked room #303. The room wasn’t cleaned properly on day 2, there was no bottled water, and the bathroom lacked basic amenities; I had to request them and only then received them.

The location was fabulous, the food excellent—especially breakfast—and the staff were very pleasant. The lake view will stay with me forever. Even though it’s a first‑class hotel, the price feels too high.
