“Alleen als je niks anders kunt vinden”
The new fridge, or at least a clean one, was a plus. The rest was disappointing. The entrance couldn’t be found using the directions; we had to locate the building by the front‑door photo, which was elsewhere on the street. The instructions you receive on the day don’t work, and when you point that out you get no response. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very unhygienic, both in terms of periodic and daily upkeep. The bed unfortunately didn’t fit for sleeping.
“It was good for the money paid, would stay again if in the same situation and given the shower trays be replaced :)”
Everything we needed was in a roomy room with a comfy bed, just a five‑minute walk from the station and getting to the property was easy. Cleanliness was hit or miss, especially in the shared kitchen; one room only had one plate, one bowl, and one fork, while the other had three of each and a lot of cutlery, though it wasn’t the cleanest. Both rooms had big cracks in the shower trays that had been patched poorly, raising concerns about how much weight they could hold, and by the end of the weekend the patches had started to crack again.
“Cheap and good for a 1 night stay.”
It was inexpensive for a one‑night stay and there were plenty of local shops and a Wetherspoons nearby. The bed was comfortable. The underground station was only a ten‑minute walk away. The room wasn’t clean—there were hairs in the bed, a burn mark next to the plug socket, and the heater was stuck under the bed so we couldn’t move it to reach the sockets. After an event, the door wouldn’t unlock and it took about fifteen minutes to open. We didn’t meet any staff.
It’s not like the picture. The bathroom is very small and the shower wasn’t cleaned.
The fans worked well and cooled the room. A small fridge and sink were available in each room. The room was dirty, sheets were marked, walls were scuffed and peeled, soap had been used in the shower, and the mirror was taped on. From the window you could see a garden full of rubbish. Overall the property was poorly maintained.
