My experience at this hotel was a mixed bag. While the location and surroundings were truly impressive, with the proximity to music venues being a major highlight, the initial interaction with the staff left a bit to be desired. However, they eventually warmed up and provided excellent service, making my stay a pleasant one overall.

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful green surroundings and the helpful staff who lived on-site. The hotel offered a pool, a bike rental service, and proximity to cafes, restaurants, and popular attractions. However, the old rooms had some drawbacks, including no hot water, uncleanliness that required a request to be addressed, and issues with towels and mattresses.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with the state of my room, which was dirty and had dead insects, sand, and even a live spider in the pillowcase. To make matters worse, I didn't receive a refund after cancelling my booking, which was something I was entitled to.

“Parfait”

I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel's central location in Ubud, and our room offered a breathtaking view of the rice fields. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we even had the delightful experience of having monkeys visit our balcony. However, we did struggle to find the place due to a GPS issue, which wasn't the hotel's fault.
