We enjoyed a fantastic stay at this small ryokan, just a few minutes' walk from the train station; the highlight was our hostess Yoko, who guided us around the city, made reservations, and looked into our travel needs, and both the traditional and continental breakfasts were tasty—thanks for everything!

I absolutely loved my stay here! The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and intimate, with a lovely traditional Japanese atmosphere: tatami mats, a real futon and a beautiful garden. The location is also very convenient, with bus stops and metro stations nearby. But above all, the staff were absolutely wonderful: incredibly kind, attentive and thoughtful. They truly made us feel welcome and cared for. The Japanese breakfast was also exquisite! I 100% recommend this hotel if you’re looking for an authentic Japanese experience while still being comfortable. A truly lovely stay in Kyoto!
