“Nie mehr”

The staff were attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we received a room in a completely deplorable state that we had never seen before: a booked 4‑bedroom with the described view, but the sofa was covered in dried stains, there were indeterminate food residues in and around the kettle, the towel rack in the bathroom had smeared toothpaste, the bed frame was broken, an antenna cable was hanging loose from the wall, and the safe wouldn’t open—so we doubt the room was cleaned before our arrival. How could such a room be offered? A thorough inspection would have caught this. Overall, the impression was extremely unkempt and dirty. We spoke with management and were given a better room. The bathroom had two sinks, each with a different faucet. The bathrooms were outdated. On the tables in the breakfast room were woven plastic sets with old dried stains; we showed these to management. Even if the management wants to use such placemats, it’s hard to justify their condition. Everything is like a home that’s not maintained in terms of cleanliness and hygiene; this hotel is completely unsuitable for guests. Breakfast cost €17 per person, with the dirty sets included. The selection was good, but after this experience we didn’t eat there again; it was unsettling. We photographed all the defects but chose not to publish them here; our description is clear. The staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and helpful. We had to search for a parking spot on the first night in a residential area, then found one for €17 per night. This hotel does not deserve its star rating.

The balcony view (room with lake view) was nice, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast offered a wide selection. The building feels old, like an 80s hotel that’s cleverly hidden in the photos. Breakfast is served in a “crazy breakfast room” overlooking the parking lot. The passage to the parking and the very small bike storage is awkward, cramped, poorly signed, and poorly lit—sort of “through the basement into the back courtyard”.

“Kurz und gut”

I really liked the very friendly reception and the information about parking and how they accommodated our bicycles.
