The lodge offers free bike rentals, and is near Zion National Park (35 miles), Grand Canyon's North Rim (90 miles), and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (5-minute drive).

The owner was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, which was much appreciated. The room was on the small side but perfectly adequate for a one‑night stopover in Kanab, making it a pleasant little place for a short stay. The breakfast was unfortunately not to my taste; parmesan eggs served in a glass were certainly an unusual concept, but one that didn't particularly appeal to me. I appreciate the attempt to offer something different, although personally I would have preferred something a little simpler and more traditional—sometimes simplicity is best.

The welcome was friendly and warm. The wooden lodges are characterful and well positioned. The bedroom and the bathroom were clean and functional, and there was plenty of parking. The grounds were nicely kept. Breakfast was in the hotel adjacent to the lodges, served promptly and was nice, but there were no choices. Excellent value for money, and Kanab is a good location for exploring the surrounding area. The bedroom and bathroom are both on the small side but adequate. The air conditioning was very effective but a little noisy.

The room was cozy. The location was good and the place was clean. Breakfast is at the neighboring restaurant and is really tasty. This is also a restaurant where you can eat super delicious food in the evening (Segu).
