The room was clean, modern, and roomy, even coming with a microwave. It was quiet, the linens were fresh, and overall it offered great value. The breakfast, however, was served at the adjacent hotel, which I think is part of the same chain, and it was quite simple with few choices. Unfortunately, the heater was faulty, so on Saturday we had to take a cold shower, though I believe it was an isolated issue since the shower worked perfectly on Friday.

There was a small issue with my reservation; I received a message saying my room was 103, but because the hotel has no front desk I got a code to unlock the corridor door, which opened but the room door didn’t. I tried contacting via WhatsApp as if I were booking, the number that confirmed my reservation didn’t reply in time and I was given a new code. I entered the room without trouble, but a few hours later another guest tried to enter repeatedly; after that a staff member from the neighboring hotel knocked on the door and I had to show my reservation confirmation, and he said there was probably a mistake between the booking and the hotel. At checkout on the hotel website I hit an error and had to request help again. The stay is good, but I’m not sure I’d stay again at a hotel without a staffed reception.
