The staff were warm and welcoming, the home cooking was fantastic, the garden was lovely, rooms were tidy, and the location was perfect for us.

All the essentials for a two‑night stay were there, the street in front was quiet despite being on a road, the room and bathroom were clean, and the staff were nice; breakfast wasn’t a buffet but was extensive. I had hoped for evening meals as well, yet the kitchen was closed on the days I was there and there were no alternatives nearby.

Despite the advertised pool, the site was a construction site; we complained but the owner ignored us. Booking also fell short, as the accommodations weren’t inspected enough. The lack of a pool wasn’t a one‑off.
