The owner was friendly and agreed I deserved a refund, but as a busy single mom of three she said I’d have to contact someone else while she was very busy. I still want a refund; this was the worst hotel stay of my life. The room had dirty men’s underwear under the bed, trash left in drawers, the hot tub was cold, a pool light fixture was floating in the pool attached to an electrical cord, and the staff were rude.

Breakfast was okay, but the room wasn’t as clean as expected; the ice machine was broken and a small tub with the remaining bits of a bag of ice was left inside. No desk clerk was around, so I had to wait.

The location and decor were great, the room was comfortable, and breakfast wasn’t bad. However, our room had a mildew smell while my sister’s room didn’t; the outside doors weren’t locked and the pool was shut because a “lightbulb was out.”
