“Great eco-fri3ndly qccomodation near Amboseli National Park”
I stayed at an exceptional spot right on the edge of Amboseli National Park, a family‑run ecological farm where you can pick between a tent or a bungalow that comes with beds and a private toilet/shower. The beds were very comfortable, the family was incredibly nice and helpful, and at night you could see stars and hear the animals. Both dinner and breakfast were made from local organic produce. The place is only a 30‑minute drive from the park gate, and when you reach the gate you’re told you’re staying there, so you can use a 24‑hour ticket for the afternoon and the next morning just like you would in a pricier lodge inside the park—very convenient. Just be prepared for a bumpy road from the gate to the farm (it’s well marked), so a 4x4 is essential. Our bungalow was powered by solar energy, and you can charge your phones in another building.
