The tree‑houses/cottages are nicely situated in nature. We chose this resort because of the reviews and the beautiful photos, but we were disappointed. If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic stay in nature like we were, the only good option is to book one of the tree‑houses/cottages, not a hotel room. Those rooms are extremely noisy because they’re all next to the playroom/reception. When we complained upon arrival, we were asked to pay the full amount to upgrade to a quieter location, even though we hadn’t booked one. The manager’s service was very mediocre and should have known better. The hotel is far from Munnar, so if you’re coming for the tea plantations you’re not in the right place. You can’t rent scooters, and the taxi arranged by the hotel is expensive.
