“Good place to live”

The rooms were large and reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly and quick to respond. I had a bathroom issue, and once I mentioned it, they fixed it within an hour, which I appreciated. However, the room could use a bit more upkeep. The main door was poorly made, very tight, and hard to open and close. There was no tissue box, and toothbrushes and toothpaste were missing—things that many hotels provide. The beach next to the hotel could have been better organized.

“Spectacular views, great for surfing and some beach r&r”

We were upgraded to the ocean suite, which was spectacular with stunning views, a lovely balcony, and ample space. Everyone said it was off‑season, but the weather was great. We surfed with Sudda next door, who was fantastic, and we headed into Marissa or Weligama, preferring Marissa for dining. The pool tiles needed some attention, though they were looking into it while we stayed.

“The staff are good and friendly.”

This was my second stay at the hotel, in April 2025 and May 2026. The location works for me—calm with a nice view. The breakfast, however, remained unchanged from last year, with no improvements.

The room was very large, with a good bed and amazing sea views. The pool area was also great.
