The price was good, but the bedroom door entry code could use better security and the battery needs daily replacement; the floors were filthy under the beds and full of dust, yet overall the stay was very comfortable. Security checks are needed to prevent people from entering the hotel at night.

The location to Brighton Center is convenient, the place is quiet, and the “No disturb” signs work well. The fridge is a bit small and a microwave would be useful for warming food.

I was upgraded to a sea‑view room at the Regency Hotel, which is practical and functional—nothing fancy but perfect as a base, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The many stairs might not be practical for everyone.

Overall this property was very good. It was clean, and had everything we needed. The owner was friendly and we were very thankful as we booked last minute after being scammed elsewhere. Location was brilliant within walking distance of everywhere we needed to go. It was a little outdated and small but wouldn’t put us off staying here again
