The room was very comfortable for three people and impeccably clean. The breakfast was generous, and they even offered a free dinner! The location was centrally located and the staff were very courteous. In our room we found water, wine, and fruit salad waiting for us. The only drawback was the lack of parking; you have to find a spot wherever you can, which means driving around in the sun.

The hotel is situated close to the beach, on a pedestrian street. We had a large room with a big balcony, a dryer, and a sea view. Cleaning was done daily and bath towels were changed each day. Breakfast and dinner were good, with a Swedish buffet that was varied. The reception and restaurant staff were attentive and helpful. Parking for private cars is located at the end of the street, a large public parking area that is free of charge. The hallway and neighboring rooms are noisy and the sounds are loud in the room.

The starters were on point—diverse and high quality. The room was cleaned daily, and the bed linens and towels were changed every day. Small gestures from the staff and hotel management make you feel cared for, so we’ll definitely come back.

Breakfast was tasty and varied for the length of our stay, though it could become repetitive on a longer visit, but that didn’t happen. The service was quick and friendly, and clearing the tables was almost instantaneous—kudos to the staff who were always on time. Once, it was too crowded to find a free spot, so we had to wait a bit. We noticed that when we ate at Ammos, the partner hotel Aqua also served meals. The room was clean, as was the whole hotel. Cleaning happened daily, except for one day when we didn’t leave the room. On one of those days, we put unused towels in the closet and found others on the bed! We left both sets at check‑out to avoid giving the wrong impression. Interaction with staff was minimal because we didn’t need anything. Despite the street view, the balcony door and window were well insulated, letting us sleep at times when the city outside was still lively. The air conditioning worked well and was very useful in July, with no unpleasant smells at the start. The spacious balcony, equipped with a towel dryer and beach gear, was great, especially in the evening when we could relax and watch the street bustle. We chose Ammos because it’s close to the beach, and we fully enjoyed that advantage. The nearby beaches are clean and very popular, with plenty of options for sunbeds or blankets, especially if you don’t mind walking two minutes to find a spot. Fine sand, calm water, and the beach entrance drops relatively quickly near the shore and becomes shallower farther out. Everything was well marked with buoys. Minor repairs are still needed in the bathroom. The towel hooks on the wall weren’t fixed and fell off easily. The hair dryer had a catastrophic failure and hadn’t been replaced yet, but we had a spare available. The apartment door was almost nonexistent; we could hear any hallway noise and even from other floors. The safe was locked and password-protected, so we couldn’t use it. I’m sure it would have been resolved if we had reported it, but we didn’t need it. With all the soundproofing, every morning we were woken by the city’s waste collection activity. On vacation, I didn’t want to be awakened at 06:30 by the noise of garbage trucks, but you can’t have it all. Also, the room’s street-facing orientation sometimes brought the smell of food from the restaurants below. I was surprised by the sea water, which was murky regardless of day or weather, and on the last day of our stay the presence of algae became unbearable—they were everywhere.
